Learning Factors is a blend of essential fatty acid rich oils, shown to optimize brain and eye function thereby contributing to normal learning, attention and concentration. Natural Factors has combined three essential polyunsaturated fatty acids: docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), arachidonic acid (AA), and gamma linolenic acid (GLA).
Our DHA comes from the highest quality dolphin-friendly tuna oil and the GLA and AA is derived from high quality evening primrose oil. Vitamin E and thyme oil, two well-known antioxidants, preserve the fatty acids to optimize the amounts available to the body. This unique blend is solvent- and pesticide-free and is regularly tested for heavy metals and peroxides.
Learning Factors is ideal for children as well as adults who want to enhance their mental focus naturally and safely. Emerging research shows a strong link between learning, behaviour, concentration and essential fatty acids. Children diagnosed with ADD or ADHD or dyslexia often have low levels of these essential fatty acids. Dosage
2 softgels twice daily with meals or as directed by a health care practitioner. Keep out of the reach of children.
Contraindications
- As this product is designed specifically for children there are no drug interactions known at this time.
- There are some interactions for adults on blood thinning medication who choose to take products that contain fish oil.
- Parents of children with seizure disorders may want to check with their nutritionally-oriented health care practitioner before taking any supplement that affects brain function.
- Individuals with diabetes must monitor blood sugar levels closely if electing to use fish oil supplements.
- Elevations in blood sugar and cholesterol levels have occurred in some diabetics taking fish oils supplements.

Pregnancy and Nursing: Fish oils, but not fish liver oil, are considered safe during pregnancy and lactation. Note: Due to its very high levels of vitamin A and vitamin D, cod liver oil should not be taken by women who are at risk or who already are pregnant.
