A weight loss trial was conducted at the Canadian Center for Functional Medicine using SlimStyles Meal Replacement Drink Mix with PGX from December to February, possibly the most difficult time of year to lose weight. Dosage
Add 2 scoops (57 g) of SlimStyles powder to 350 mL-500 mL of water and shake in a shaker cup or mix in blender until smooth to make a delicious, satisfying drink. Drink immediately after mixing, as it thickens quickly. Use 1-2 times daily as a meal replacement. When first taking SlimStyles begin with 1 scoop (28.5 g) in 175 mL-350 mL of water and gradually increase to 2 scoops (57 g) as directed above.
Contraindications
- PGX can slow the rate of absorption of medications so it is recommended to take any oral medications 1 hour before SlimStyles Meal Replacement or 2 to 3 hours after.
- Diabetics must monitor their blood sugar and adjust their medication accordingly as the PGX in SlimStyles helps control blood sugar and it may lessen the need for medications or insulin over time. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use.
Additional Information
Children: Considered safe for children at on-half the adult dose for children under 12. It is imperative that the child take in adequate water with each serving of SlimStyles while on the program.
Pregnancy and Nursing: Although SlimStyles with PGX is very safe, it is advisable for pregnant women to check with their health care practitioner prior to use. It is also highly inadvisable for a woman to go on a weight loss program unless directed by her health care practitioner while pregnant.
Seniors: No special precautions known, however, seniors should consult with their health care practitioner prior to use. It is imperative to drink a large glass of water within an hour after taking any SlimStyles Meal Replacement Drink Mix.
