Chronic hepatitis is a growing epidemic. Statistics from the World Health Organization estimates that 350 million individuals have chronic hepatitis. The most serious form of chronic hepatitis is chronic hepatitis C (CHC). It is suspected that there are currently more than 5 million people in the United States that are infected with CHC, and perhaps as many as 200 million around the world. The death rate from hepatitis C will surpass that from AIDS by the year 2000 and will only get worse.

The drug of choice in conventional medicine is alpha-interferon (a very expensive treatment), but this approach is successful in only about one third of cases. There are a number of natural compounds included in Liver Health that have exerted as good or better results in chronic hepatitis. Liver Health Formula contains several unique compounds that work synergistically to support the liver, even when liver function is severely impaired.

Glucuronate, a nutritional substance used by the liver to bind to toxins to help eliminate them from the system.

Alpha-lipoic acid which protects the liver from free radical damage and it also helps promote detoxification reactions. Preliminary clinical evidence has shown benefits to people with hepatitis and cirrhosis of the liver.

Silybin phytosome is better absorbed and produces better results than regular milk thistle extract.

Contraindications

• The drug of choice in conventional medicine for chronic hepatitis is alpha-interferon, a very expensive treatment that produces benefits in only about one-third of cases.
• Fortunately, the natural compounds included in Liver Health Formula have exerted some benefits of their own and may also improve the effect of alpha-interferon.

Non-medicinal Ingredients

Microcrystalline cellulose, vegetarian capsule (carbohydrate gum [cellulose], purified water, silica), silica, vegetable grade magnesium stearate (lubricant).  

Recommended Adult Dose

1–4 capsules twice daily or as directed by a health care practitioner. Keep out of reach of children.
